Well Now I've Just Plain Seen It All

Driving down the highway today, I was passed by a car with a license plate that read:

IUZ KJV

Did you read that "Use KJV"? Because I just kept staring at it and thinking that I had no idea what the idea was. Then I thought... hmmm... maybe it's.... this?

Good talking to you the other day!

I've linked to your blog in the past, from SoulPerblog. I don't know where else to leave a question. What does the term "They hang like paper lanterns" mean? I think it's a very creative name, but I can't find any etymology or definition of this phrase anywhere on the web. Would it be possible to address this in a post on your blog? Thank you, respectfully, and humbly.

That's funny, my license plate says L2RGORBST.

P.S. In response to Anonymous' question (a question I once asked myself) I found the answer in Erin's archives. January 30, 2006 should explain all you're wanting to know.

Just wanted to tell you about a free giveaway at my site. It's for some all-natural bath and body products made in Texas. Come check it out - and tell your friends! Thanks!

funny. When my husband was starting his business we went on the site to create personalized license plates in our state, to see if they're available...AND oh my gosh, it was so funny! (I think I had more fun than he did though. ;))
