Sugar at My Doorstep
Robin, got the idea from someone else, who got the idea from someone else (probably)... to post a picture of the view from our front door. Well, of course I thought that was a brilliant idea, especially since it had just snowed so I had quite a lovely powdered sugar view to offer you.
I'm a few days late with this post, but it's better than never posting at all!

Looking one way
And looking the other
My sugary snow babies

Wow! What a beautiful view you have, Erin. And beautiful little girls. Oh, so beautiful.
PS: I joined the conversation going on at Laura's site with some comments directed in your general direction. :)
Beautiful view, especially of the babes in arms.
Shhhhhhhhh! Don't tell anyone, but this is my favorite winter view YET! It's a sugary winter wonderland and I am DYING to come over and play! Daggumit, I'm pining over SNOW!
Your daughters are adorable all bundled up. Let's let them play outside while you and I sip hot cocoa laced with piles of whipped cream (on the inside).
My philosophy is "better late than never" when it comes to these blog things. Glad you were late:).
Oooooo, my word verification is "hoota" and if that don't put a smile on your face, I don't know what will :D.
Robin, I just stocked up on the soon-to-be-gone-from-all-grocery-stores whipped cream with peppermint chips in it. I bet Heather got her mitts on the pumpkin spice flavored creamers I saw sitting next to it.
You're all invited to come sit with me and drink mochas and hot chocolate while we watch the sugar babies throw snowballs at us through the window. I'm sure we don't live that far apart... just a hop, skip and a jump... by plane. And then sled dog.
Gorgeous view Erin...you girls are so darling. They look like they have oodles of fun together. :)
Sweet.
mwuhahaha. soon, all the pumpkin spice in the world will be mine! all mine!
Wish I could come! Whipped cream with peppermint chips . . . really? Or was that just one of those dreamy blogisms?
Well Charity, the picture on the front of the can shows lovely luscious chips of peppermint floating on a slobberingly delicious cloud of cream. However... there are no actual CHIPS in the cream itself. It must be infused with essence of peppermint.
But I still have candy canes left from Christmas.
And a hammer.
If we get desperate.
(It's Land O' Lakes brand, BTW.)
Oh wow! What a beautiful view through the front door. We never get views like that but then again, we don't ever have snow either.
